Frequently asked questions
Can I transfer my data from Salonkee to Mapresto?
Yes, if you can export it as CSV or Excel. You import clients and – depending on the export – appointments into Mapresto; the Concierge maps the columns and you check everything before importing. What can be exported is up to the respective provider.
Where is my data stored with Mapresto?
Studio and client data are stored on servers in Switzerland. Mapresto is developed and operated in Switzerland.
Does Mapresto support Swiss VAT?
Yes. If your studio is subject to VAT, Mapresto shows VAT correctly on receipts, provides a VAT report and an export for your accountant. VAT and the till are available from Single Studio Plus.
Do I need a device for TWINT?
No. The till shows a QR code. The client opens it with her phone camera – not with the scanner of the TWINT or banking app – and lands on the Stripe payment page, where she chooses TWINT or card. For this you connect your studio to Stripe Connect once, from Single Studio Plus.
What does the Concierge do on WhatsApp?
When a client replies to her reminder on WhatsApp, the Concierge answers her questions about the next appointment and only reschedules after she confirms. Other requests are passed on to you as a push message. You switch it on or off in your account.
How do the voice notes work?
After the treatment you speak for up to 60 seconds about what you did. The Concierge transcribes the note, structures it and saves it with the client. Written notes are still possible.
How long does the switch take?
That depends on the amount and quality of your data. During the 30-day trial you prepare everything calmly while your current software keeps running. On switch day you only swap the booking link.

No. Mapresto is an independent Swiss studio software and is not affiliated with Salonkee. Salonkee is a trademark of its owner; we only name it to describe the switch.
